The Rock was launched in June of 2003 to serve radio listeners throughout Durham Region and the eastern Greater Toronto Area. Its unique blend of “Killer Classics and The New Rock You Need” gives listeners the variety of rock music not heard elsewhere in the GTA. The Rock’s Morning Show features Craig Robertson, Rita MacInally and Mike Fuller. Scott Penfold, hosts middays while afternoons have Matt Diamond behind the mic. Then Monday to Wednesday evenings host Rockin’ Rod spins the tunes along with Matt’s “New Rock at Nine” which highlights new talent. Thursday and Friday evenings it’s the legendary David Marsden.
